City of Appleton issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
According to Minnesota Statute 244.052 and .253D, the Lac qui Parle Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Swift County Sheriff’s Office and the Appleton Police Department is releasing information regarding Maxxe Stevens Jackson, a Level 3 Predatory Registrant subject to public notification. Mr. Jackson has moved to the vicinity of County Road 34 and County Road 67, rural Madison, MN 56256.
A Community Notification Meeting has been scheduled for 5:00 PM, Friday January 24th at the 52 Wing located at 50 East Rooney Avenue, Appleton, MN 56208. Representatives from the Department of Corrections, Lac qui Parle Sheriff’s Department and other partnering agencies will be available to provide you with useful information on public safety.
