Householdhazardous

City of Audubon issued the following announcement on May 29.

If you are working on projects and need paint, stains, householdcleaners, etc., come check out the Becker County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Reuse Facility and pick up items at no charge. We have so much for you to choose from and it is FREE!

We will open our reuse area for the season on Wednesday, June 3rd at 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., & every Wednesday through October.

(Expect a few changes such as masks, social distancing, limits of people in the reuse area at one time).

Household residents can also bring waste paints, stains, cleaners, automotive, and pesticide waste to dispose of. If you cannot make it on Wednesdays, you can also bring it to the Becker County Transfer Station during regular business hours: M-F 8-4:30 and Sat. 8-noon.
