Cost of college went up for all students at Ridgewater College

Tuition and fees rose 0.1 percent for 2018-19 at Ridgewater College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Minnesota students paid $5,765 to attend the two-year public institution this year – $6 more than the $5,759 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 85 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 332 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.6 million and 252 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (3,298), 2,235 students used grants or scholarships totaling $9.2 million, and 1,229 students took out $7.1 million in federal student loans.
