City of Alexandria issued the following announcement on Oct. 5.
Douglas County registered voters in MAIL BALLOT PRECINCTS should have received their official ballots this week. Mail Ballot Precincts include the townships of: Alexandria,Belle River,Brandon,Hudson,Ida,La Grand, Lund,Moe,Spruce Hill and the city of Millerville.
We want to make sure everyone is confident in their ability to properly complete and return the ballots.

One additional piece of information. You are only allowed to drop your own ballot in the drop box. If you are returning a ballot for anyone else, you’ll need to deliver it inside the courthouse and be prepared to fill out additional paperwork and show ID.
