City of Barnesville issued the following announcement on Oct. 7.
Road Closure! Beginning at 9:00 am on Thursday, October 8, 13th Street SE from 2nd to 9th Avenue will be CLOSED to traffic. This will allow Barnesville Public Works crews to apply polymer coating to the road surface. This is being done to eliminate dust and create a smoother driving surface for our residents!
This section is tentatively scheduled to reopen to traffic at 2:30 pm on Friday, October 9.
Please make plans for alternate routes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
