City of Barnesville issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.
Major responsibilities include providing supervisory, administrative and professional work in planning, organizing, directing and supervising the Streets and Parks Department. Experience operating heavy equipment is also required. This job requires both hands-on work in the field as well as administrative responsibilities. See Public Works Superintendent Position Description for more details. Wage is $60,000 – $70,000 depending on qualifications.
Minimum Requirements for the position are 5 years experience in public works and 2 yrs supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
