City Of Moorhead issued the following announcement on Mar. 10.
The City of Moorhead is accepting applications for two positions:
• Sanitation Truck Driver
• Seasonal Lifeguard
SANITATION TRUCK DRIVER
This position will operate a sanitation truck and other waste collection vehicles on an assigned route; perform equipment and vehicle inspections; and complete minor maintenance and repair of refuse containers, semis, roll-off trucks and compost equipment (including welding, replacing parts, painting, and related work as required).
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED
• Six months’ experience as a truck driver, or related field
Special Requirements:
• Valid commercial driver's license with Class "B" and air brake endorsement
Full time. Starting salary: $40,780; full salary scale: $40,780 to $58,257
SEASONAL LIFEGUARD
Responsibilities include surveillance of patrons in the facility, enforcing all safety rules and regulations, and immediate and appropriate action in the event of an emergency. Must work well under pressure, have strong communication skills, and present a professional and mature attitude. Current Lifeguard Certification required.
Must be 15 or older. Hours are 12:30-4:30 pm and 6:30-8:30 pm.
$13.50-$15.10 per hour.
