The City of Moorhead is accepting applications for seasonal part-time and full-time temporary Forestry positions in the Public Works Department.

Seasonal Forestry Maintenance

Help keep our community clean while enjoying the great outdoors! Monday-Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm with some weekends. Assist Forestry staff with daily tasks including residential brush pick-up and chipping; planting and watering trees; tree removal; and tree pruning. Will be expected to work in other maintenance areas as assigned. Must be 18 or older possess a valid drivers license, and be able to operate pickups, one-ton vehicles and a variety of other equipment.

Pay rate: $12.75-$14.35 an hour; approximately mid-April to November

Seasonal Forestry Chipping Operator

Performs various forestry duties, specifically brush-chipping operations for the curbside brush pickup service. Assist Forestry staff and other divisions with maintenance tasks when directed. Must be 18 or older and possess a valid drivers license. Must be able to operate pickups, large trucks, trailers and other equipment. Monday-Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm with some weekends.

Pay rate: $15.00-$16.60 an hour; approximately mid-April to November
