City Of Battle Lake issued the following announcement on Apr. 22.
We are looking for volunteers for our annual Beautify Battle Lake Clean up Day! Come be a part of this event and work with a great group of kids from the school. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11th with May 12th scheduled as a rain date. We'll meet at the school at 9:15 a.m. and we'll be done by noon. Can't volunteer? We are in need of people to bring cookies or bars (individually packaged) for the morning break and lunch.
