Of the 653 people living in Buffalo Lake in 2020, 52.1 percent (340) were women and 47.9 percent (313) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the WC Minnesota News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 4. In the 65 and over age range, there were 124 females and 70 males.
