City Of Buffalo Lake issued the following announcement on Jun. 16.
Montrose Construction!
County Road 12 will be closed for construction starting June 20 and will be open to traffic by July 1, 2022. The road closure will occur at the intersection of County Road 12 and 2nd Street S in Montrose. County Road 12 traffic will be detoured west of Montrose through Waverly utilizing County Road 107, County Road 9, and Highway 12, as shown in the attached - Figure 1.
Access to the Montrose Elementary School, apartments, and Kids Grow Child Care building will be provided via a temporary gravel road that will be installed from the east end of 3rd Street S to the school parking lot, as shown in the attached Figure 2.
