City Of Moorhead issued the following announcement.
The City of Moorhead Parks and Recreation Department has an immediate need to fill two positions:
Canoe and Kayak Attendant: This position is in charge of handling public rentals of canoes, kayaks, life jackets, and paddles as well as assisting with the remaining summer river excursions once a month. Must be 16 or older; training provided.
Wage: $12-$13.60 per hour, part time, weekday late afternoon/early evenings and weekends
Special Events Assistant: Assist with a variety of special events throughout the year. Applicants will assist with set up, tear down, and various aspects of running the events. Currently need assistance with the summer/fall farmer’s market. Applicants should be able to multitask, have strong customer service skills, be able to follow instructions, and be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Work may be done both indoors and outdoors. Dates and times vary with each event. Must be 16 or older. Year-round position.
Wage: $12.00-$13.60 per hour
