The Murray County Recycling Center will hold a Fall Cleaning Collection from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 8 at the recycling center, 1820 Erlandson Avenue, Slayton. They will be accepting Household Hazardous Waste, including paints and varnishes, chemicals and farm chemicals, fluorescent bulbs (fee based on type of bulb), Christmas lights $3, car seats $3, appliances $13, mattresses $10, TVS and electronics 50 cents per pound.
