County Otter Tail issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
Veterans did you know you can indicate your veteran status on your driver’s license?
To place a veteran’s status on your license just show your DD-214 when renewing. The veteran indication is there to show you are a veteran and the ID then may be used at businesses for veteran discounts.
If a veteran does not have this indication status on their license, it does not affect any of their VA benefits or anything else. ottertailcountymn.us/drivers-licenses-mn-state-ids
