County Of Douglas issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
As we all continue to move the snow out of our way, please remember to keep it on your property. Do not blow or push it onto the roadways. All of our snowplow drivers have done an amazing job this week to clear the roads as quickly and efficiently as possible and they don't need extra snow from any of us.
Also, Douglas County remains in a winter weather advisory until 6 p.m. this evening. Expect more snow and gusty winds up to 40 mph.
The good news today? It's still pretty mild out there... just wait!
