County Of Douglas issued the following announcement on Mar. 15. 

Join the Social Services Department as an Office Services Supervisor! 

$29.19 hourly, Full-Time, Generally, M-F scheduling of 8-4:30 p.m. 

The Office Services Supervisor directs the clerical/office support functions of the Douglas County Social Services agency; establishes clerical policies and procedures; manages inventory, the purchase of office supplies and equipment and adheres to the procurement policy of Douglas County; coordinates work of unit with other units in the agency; and performs related work as assigned. Input in determining and executing of implementing policies and procedures for the unit and the agency. Fosters an environment of providing excellent customer service to employees and clients.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT HIRE:

Education/Experience

High School Diploma or GED.

Two-year technical college training in office support/office management or

Three years of increasingly responsible clerical/office support experience or

Two years of increasingly responsible clerical experience, including one year of lead work or supervisory experience in office support. Substitution of college coursework in business, accounting, office management, or

a closely related field for experience on a year-for-year basis is allowed, up to a maximum of two years of the increasingly responsible experience.

Licenses and Other Requirements:

Valid Minnesota Driver's License.
