3.4% of Renville County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Renville County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.4% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 247 people out of the 14,768 living in Renville County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Renville County has increased compared to the 2.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Renville County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 7,036 people who had a job during that time, 8 were employed in the Armed Forces and 7,028 belonged to the civilian labor force.
