On December 3, 2024, Rep. Fischbach expressed concern about the impact of workforce shortages in the healthcare sector on rural communities. She stated her commitment to finding real solutions: "The workforce shortage in the healthcare sector has had a massive impact on our rural communities. I'm committed to finding real solutions."

Two days later, on December 5, 2024, she thanked the St. Cloud VA for providing a tour of their facility and discussing their accomplishments and future plans with her. Rep.
