Rep. Michelle Fischbach, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 7th district since 2021, recently shared her views on various political issues through social media posts. Fischbach, who succeeded Collin Peterson in office and has a background in law with degrees from St. Cloud State University and William Mitchell College of Law, voiced her support for specific legislative measures and expressed her stance on current political discourse.

On January 23, 2025, Rep. Fischbach stated her firm support for the Born Alive Act. She encouraged her colleagues to vote affirmatively to protect infants who survive abortion attempts. "I just stood in strong support of the Born Alive Act and in defense of the defenseless. I encourage every single one of my colleagues to join me in voting YES to protect babies who have survived an attempted abortion."

Later that day, Fischbach addressed what she perceived as misinformation being spread by members of the opposing party. "The lies coming out of the Democrats' mouths were so sickening I couldn't sit by. I had to set the record straight."

In another post on January 23, she extended gratitude towards President Biden without elaborating further on the context or reasons for this appreciation. "Thank you, Mr. President!"
