On February 9, 2025, Rep. Fischbach emphasized the importance of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. She expressed gratitude to President Biden for his efforts in reducing Tehran's exports and enforcing stricter sanctions. "We need to do everything we can to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Thank you, @POTUS for working to drive down Tehran’s exports and enforce greater sanctions."
Later that day, she addressed a decision by the Department of Defense (DoD) concerning the use of taxpayer dollars for elective abortions' transportation costs. She highlighted this policy change as fulfilling previous commitments: "DoD will no longer allow taxpayer dollars to be used for transportation for elective abortions. Promises made, promises kept."
On February 10, 2025, Rep. Fischbach commented on the United Nations' performance and supported former President Trump's decision to withdraw from certain UN bodies: "The UN has not been living up to its potential or its purpose. We saw countless reports of their involvement in October 7. President Trump is right to withdraw from UNHRC and UNWRA."
