Michelle Fischbach, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota's 7th District, shared her recent activities and points of interest through a series of tweets. Fischbach, who has been serving in Congress since replacing Collin Peterson in 2021, has highlighted her ongoing efforts in various spheres, ranging from healthcare to economic policy and national security.

On April 28, Fischbach expressed gratitude to Kittson Healthcare, stating, "Thank you to everyone from Kittson Healthcare for taking the time to meet with me and sharing your priorities. I look forward to continuing to support you by cutting unnecessary regulations and fighting against the misguided nursing staff ratio mandated by the last administration." The focus of this meeting was predominantly on healthcare regulations and staffing standards.

Later on April 28, she shared insights from a meeting with Northwest Beverages. According to her, "I met with Northwest Beverages to discuss tax policies for Main Street, tariffs, and trade. Did you know that independent beer distributors like theirs are local, family-owned, and contribute over $30 billion to the U.S. economy every year?" This statement underscores the contribution of independent beer distributors to the national economy.

On April 29, Fischbach tweeted about achievements in the first 100 days of the current administration. "In his first #100Days, @POTUS has signed the Laken Riley Act into law, has dangerous gangs and cartels shaking in their boots, and has shut our borders to illegal immigrants." In this tweet, she attributed significant actions taken under President Biden's administration concerning law enforcement and immigration.

Fischbach, 57, native of Woodbury, Minnesota, has a background both in academia and law, holding a BA from St. Cloud State University and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
