Michelle Fischbach, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 7th district, has been actively sharing her views and legislative activities on social media. Her recent posts highlight key issues such as tax legislation and support for law enforcement.
On May 13, 2025, Rep. Michelle Fischbach announced her participation in a session with the Ways and Means Committee to discuss a significant legislative proposal. She described it as "One Big Beautiful Bill" aimed at delivering permanent tax cuts and providing tax relief for families, small businesses, seniors, and farmers.
The following day, May 14, 2025, Fischbach commented on the impact of previous tax cuts initiated under former President Trump. She noted that these cuts had benefitted small businesses across the state and emphasized efforts to enhance them further through committee work. Expressing confusion over opposition from Democratic colleagues, she stated: "We're not just extending them in @WaysandMeansGOP, we're making them EVEN BETTER."
On May 15, 2025, during National Police Week, Fischbach expressed gratitude towards law enforcement officers for their daily sacrifices. In her message of appreciation and respect for those who serve to maintain community safety, she conveyed her commitment to supporting them: "The men and women who put on the uniform and risk their lives to keep our communities safe have all my respect and gratitude."
Michelle Fischbach has served in Congress since replacing Collin Peterson in 2021. Born in Woodbury, Minnesota in 1965 and currently residing in Regal, she holds degrees from St. Cloud State University and William Mitchell College of Law.
