Michelle Fischbach, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota's 7th district since 2021, recently took to social media to express her legislative priorities. Her recent tweets provide insight into her policy goals and her commitment to a proposed comprehensive legislative package.

On May 19, Fischbach tweeted about the necessity of various policy measures, stating: "We need to secure the border. We need to deliver tax relief to families, small businesses, and seniors. We need Death Tax exemptions for our family farms. We need One Big Beautiful Bill."

The following day, May 20, she posted another tweet highlighting her efforts in collaboration with the President at the Capitol: "Here in the Capitol with @POTUS standing together to pass One Big Beautiful Bill and deliver on our promises to the American people." This indicates ongoing discussions and efforts toward advancing this legislation.

Later that day, Fischbach detailed components of what she calls "One Big Beautiful Bill," listing its objectives: "One Big Beautiful Bill: Permanent tax cuts Secures the border Permanent deductions for small businesses Increases Child Tax Credit Eliminates taxes on tips". These points outline her focus on tax reforms and border security.

Michelle Fischbach has served in Congress since replacing Collin Peterson in 2021. Prior to this role, she was a member of the Minnesota Senate from 2017-2018. Born in Woodbury, Minnesota in 1965 and currently residing in Regal, she holds a BA from St. Cloud State University and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
