On Sunday, March 16, former Perham Senior High School standout Noah Rooney’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oregon Ducks.

The game took place at PK Park. This was their third matchup against the Ducks this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 6 p.m. at Siebert Field against St. Thomas Tommies.
