Rep. Michelle Fischbach, U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 7th district since 2021, recently used her social media platform to comment on legislative priorities and government accountability.
On July 16, Fischbach stated: "The Trump Administration and @HouseGOP are putting American farmers first. This new policy scales back Biden's America-last foreign import practices and protects our sugar producers here at home."
Two days later, on July 18, she addressed the issue of transparency regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities: "Democrats had 4 years of Biden to release information on Epstein’s disgusting acts. @POTUS and @HouseGOP remain committed to holding the government accountable. That’s why we put forward a measure tonight calling for the release of all credible information in DOJ’s possession,".
Later that same day, Fischbach commented on congressional action related to military funding: "Last night, the House voted to fully fund our military and support their families AND cut $9 billion in waste, fraud, and abuse. This is what putting America first looks like."
Michelle Fischbach has served as a member of Congress since replacing Collin Peterson in 2021. Before her tenure in Congress, she was a member of the Minnesota Senate from 2017 to 2018. Born in Woodbury, Minnesota in 1965, Fischbach currently resides in Regal and holds degrees from St. Cloud State University (BA) and William Mitchell College of Law (JD).
