Rep. Michelle Fischbach, U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 7th district since 2021, recently highlighted her engagement with local issues and agricultural policy in a series of posts on social media.
On August 4, Fischbach described her participation in a community event: "I joined a roundtable discussion hosted by the Park Rapids Chamber of Commerce to talk about the work they are doing to make their community a better place. We talked about everything from tariffs to ongoing workforce housing concerns to rural broadband access. We also talked" (August 4, 2025).
The following day, she posted about her attendance at an agricultural forum: "Excited to be here at Farmfest! Watch my panel discussion with @RepFinstad @RepPeteStauber @RepAngieCraig here" (August 5, 2025).
Later that same day, Fischbach addressed the needs of Minnesota farmers: "Minnesota farmers don’t want handouts- they want fewer regulations and the ability to pass their life's work to the next generation. That’s exactly what the #OBBB will deliver." (August 5, 2025).
Michelle Fischbach has represented Minnesota's 7th District in Congress since defeating Collin Peterson in 2021. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the Minnesota Senate from 2017 to 2018. Born in Woodbury, Minnesota in 1965 and currently residing in Regal, Fischbach holds a BA from St. Cloud State University and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
