U.S. Representative Michelle Fischbach, who serves Minnesota’s 7th district, shared updates on her recent visits and meetings in Little Falls through a series of posts on social media.
On August 18, 2025, Fischbach wrote about an encounter during her walk downtown: "While walking around downtown, we ran into Purva Watten from the Little Falls Chamber. Thank you for stopping to say, 'hello!'"
Later that day, she expressed appreciation for a local arts organization: "Thank you to the kind people at Great River Arts in Little Falls. I enjoyed talking with you about all that you do for the community, from offering classes to using your space for events."
On August 19, 2025, Fischbach posted about visiting a local business and discussing community development: "I visited Ciao Thyme (love the name), where Little Falls Mayor Greg Zylka and Phil and Susy Prosapio told me about the improvements being made to the downtown area over the past few years."
Michelle Fischbach has represented Minnesota’s 7th district in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Collin Peterson. She previously served in the Minnesota Senate between 2017 and 2018. Born in Woodbury in 1965 and now residing in Regal, Fischbach holds degrees from St. Cloud State University and William Mitchell College of Law.
