Rep. Michelle Fischbach, who represents Minnesota’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted her participation at Farmfest through a series of posts on social media.
On August 22, Fischbach wrote about her visit to the Minnesota Farm Bureau booth: "Earlier this month, I stopped by the @MNFarmBureau booth at Farmfest with @USDA Deputy Secretary Vaden and enjoyed some grilled pork chops!" On August 23, she expressed appreciation for conversations with industry representatives: "Thank you, @MinnesotaTurkey, for taking the time to talk to us after the forum at Farmfest." Later that day, she also thanked another group: "Thank you to @MNSoybean for hosting us at your Farmfest tent and discussing policy issues."
Michelle Fischbach has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Collin Peterson. Before her tenure in Congress, she was a member of the Minnesota Senate from 2017 to 2018. Born in Woodbury, Minnesota in 1965 and currently residing in Regal, Fischbach holds a BA from St. Cloud State University and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
