U.S. Representative Michelle Fischbach, who serves Minnesota’s 7th district, posted a series of updates on her social media account in late August 2025, addressing both local tragedies and her ongoing engagement with constituents and business leaders.
On August 27, Fischbach responded to a tragic event at a Minneapolis school, stating, "It is tragic to hear the news about Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis this morning. I’m grateful to the emergency personnel for their response to this tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this horrific situation."
Later that day, she shared an update from her office in Moorhead: "I stopped by my Moorhead office to get an update on what has been going on in the area! https://t.co/iQQmmjUzWE" (August 27).
Two days later, on August 29, Fischbach highlighted her meeting with local business leaders at the Chamber of Commerce in Marshall: "I met with local business leaders at the @ChamberMarshall where they shared some of the issues they are facing as businesses. Michelle Fischbach has represented Minnesota’s 7th congressional district since replacing Collin Peterson in 2021. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the Minnesota Senate from 2017 to 2018. Born in Woodbury, Minnesota in 1965 and currently residing in Regal, Fischbach holds a BA from St. Cloud State University and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
