Rep. Michelle Fischbach, who represents Minnesota’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her official X (formerly Twitter) account regarding her activities and engagements.
On September 8, 2025, Fischbach expressed appreciation for a recent meeting with local stakeholders: "Thank you to Health & Pension WORKS for coming out to my Willmar office for a roundtable discussion on reforms that will help provide hard working individuals with retirement opportunities."
Two days later, on September 10, 2025, she shared her role in congressional proceedings: "I was happy to step in for @SpeakerJohnson to preside over the debate on President Trump's NDAA on the House floor." Later that same day, she posted a message of support: "Please join me in praying for Charlie Kirk and his family."
Michelle Fischbach has served as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 7th District since 2021 after succeeding Collin Peterson. She previously held office in the Minnesota Senate from 2017 to 2018. Born in Woodbury, Minnesota in 1965 and currently residing in Regal, Fischbach holds a BA from St. Cloud State University and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
