U.S. Representative Michelle Fischbach, who serves Minnesota’s 7th district in Congress, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing rural policy, local law enforcement, and military recognition.

The following day, she acknowledged the retirement of a longtime law enforcement officer: "Congratulations to Sergeant Ledoux on his retirement after over 30 years serving with the Minnesota State Patrol and as President of the Minnesota State Patrol Troopers Association. Michelle Fischbach has represented Minnesota’s 7th District in Congress since replacing Collin Peterson in 2021. Before her congressional tenure, she served in the Minnesota Senate from 2017 to 2018. Born in Woodbury in 1965 and currently residing in Regal at age 57, Fischbach holds a BA from St. Cloud State University (1989) and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law (2011).
