Rep. Michelle Fischbach, U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 7th district since 2021, posted a series of messages on social media between October 12 and October 13, 2025, addressing her support for local farmers, commemorating Columbus Day, and commenting on the release of Israeli hostages.
On October 12, Fischbach expressed gratitude toward American farmers in her district: "We are so grateful for all the American farmers! We have many right here in #MN07. I will continue to listen to our farmers and fight for them in the U.S. House."
The following day, she marked a federal holiday with a brief message: "Happy Columbus Day!" (October 13).
Later on October 13, Fischbach commented on international developments involving Israel: "The last 20 living Israeli hostages are finally going home! President Trump has worked hard to negotiate peace, he promised they would come home, and now, two years later, they are coming home! I am so grateful these families are being reunited with their loved ones!"
Fischbach succeeded Collin Peterson in representing Minnesota’s 7th district in Congress starting in 2021. She previously served in the Minnesota Senate from 2017 to 2018. Born in Woodbury, Minnesota in 1965, she currently resides in Regal. Fischbach holds a BA from St. Cloud State University (1989) and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law (2011).
