Rep. Michelle Fischbach, who represents Minnesota’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed several topics on her social media account, including the U.S. Navy's anniversary, the removal of a Christopher Columbus statue at the Minnesota Capitol, and condolences for a loss in the community.
On October 13, 2025, Rep. Fischbach marked a national milestone by stating, "Today we celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Navy! Thank you for always being courageous for our great country!"
Later that day, she commented on the removal of a historical monument: "The Christopher Columbus statue once stood prominently on the MN Capitol grounds, but rioters tore it down in 2020.
