City of Alexandria issued the following announcement on Dec. 31.
Plowing continues today until Noon. Most of the current accumulation will be cleared by that time.
Please remember: cars need to be moved. If your car has not been moved yet and it is snowed in from the plow having to go around your car in the street, you need to get it moved. Red tags will start being issued this afternoon. You then have 24 hours to move it before it will get a ticket.
Again, our goal is to keep the streets as wide and clear as possible to provide safety to all. If we all do our own part, we will be successful. Thank you for your help!
