County Of Douglas issued the following announcement on Oct. 08.
Douglas County has formed a Long Term Recovery Group to continue to assist tornado-impacted residents across the county. There is still a definite need for donations. The Alexandria Area Community Foundation has a fund in place that provides money directly to those in need.
West Central Minnesota Communities Action then takes the application, reviews it and determines eligibility. This fund is currently empty so please share this information with family and friends.
