City Of Moorhead issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
The City of Moorhead is gearing up for winter snow removal season and is hiring temporary positions in the Public Works Department.
Equipment Operator (temporary): $19.50 to $21.10
Extra help needed to assist with winter snowplowing/hauling/anti-icing and keeping City of Moorhead roads safe. Must have at least one year of experience with driving and snow plowing and the ability to work safely and perform heavy manual labor. Must have high school diploma or GED, be 18 years old and have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Hours: 3 pm-11:30 pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends.
Truck Driver-Streets (temporary): $17.25 to $18.85
Supports various work performed by the Street Division, including bituminous leveling, crack filling, and seal coating. Must have at least one year of experience with driving and the ability to work safely and perform heavy manual labor. Must be 18 years old have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). High school diploma or GED is required.
Hours: 7 am-3:30 pm. No weekends
