How many people were old enough to vote in Big Stone County during 2021?

Of the 5,155 citizens living in Big Stone County in 2021, 78.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 4,042 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 2,006 were male, constituting 49.6%, and 2,036 were female, making up 50.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Big Stone County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
