Minnesota State Representative Jim Joy has extended Easter greetings to his constituents, emphasizing the significance of the holiday as a time for reflection and renewal. In a message addressed to friends and neighbors, Joy shared his personal perspective on Easter.

"For me, Easter has always been a time to pause and reflect—not only on the new life spring brings, but on the incredible gift of grace we’ve received through the resurrection of Jesus Christ," Joy stated.

He noted that amidst daily routines, Easter serves as a reminder of important values. "In the busyness of life, Easter reminds us of what truly matters: faith, family, and the hope we have in something far greater than ourselves. Jesus' sacrifice and triumph over the grave is a powerful reminder that even in our darkest moments, redemption and renewal are always possible."

Joy mentioned plans to spend time with his family during the holiday weekend. "This weekend, I’ll be spending time with my family, soaking in the blessing of togetherness and the deep joy this season brings. I pray the same for you—that your Easter is filled with love, peace, and the reassurance that we are never alone."

He concluded his message by affirming his faith: "He is risen—He is risen indeed!"
