As the 2025 legislative session concluded, Representative Jim Joy, who serves as Co-Vice Chair of the Taxes Committee and is a member of both the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee and the State Government Finance and Policy Committee, addressed concerns regarding tax increases proposed by Governor Tim Walz.
In a statement released at the end of the session, Rep. Joy said:
