City of Alexandria issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
In response to numerous requests from landlords/rental property owners and rental property managers, the City is offering a landlord training. The training, which is available to landlords of currently registered residential rental units, will include basic information such as screening potential tenants, making the lease arrangements, terminating a lease, City nuisance ordinances, etc. There is no charge for this training and a Certificate of Completion will be mailed out to all participants.
The session will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, from 9:00 to noon in the City Council Chambers at Alexandria City Hall, 704 Broadway.
