Firefighters from the White Earth Reservation have journeyed a long way to assist California in its efforts to contain the fires that are currently ravaging the state, according to the West Central Tribune.
A 2200-acre fire that once tore across the state is now 100% contained, thanks in part to the small force of firefighters that arrived to help the state fight off the fires that are disturbing the economy and the lives of residents throughout the state.
With this large fire now under control, many residents have been able to return to their homes and their daily lives. This is thanks to a nationwide effort in which thousands of firefighters have come together to address the crisis.
Though the main concern has been put under control, their work remains far from over. Firefighters continue to work 12 or more hours each day in order to contain smaller blazes and ensure that the fire does not reach critical levels again shortly.
