Why the change? According to Minnkota Recycling – which handles the City of Moorhead’s recycling after it is collected – glass has become too expensive to recycle, creates safety issues in the recycling process, and contaminates the recycling stream.

The goal of the Building Inspector Apprenticeship is to provide knowledge and enhance career preparedness in the building inspection field by providing mentorship, training and classes with the goal to become a Limited Building Official with the City of Moorhead. The apprenticeship is funded by the State of Minnesota for one year and made possible by a generous grant by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
